WHY ARE THERE CRUEL PEOPLE IN THIS WORLD ???
This is my big question for everyone to ponder. Having cancer is no picnic. Having Melanoma whether you have Stage I or Stage IV is a living hell and yet there are those people out there that feel the need to judge me and other that have this awful disease !!! I guess because I have the luxury of NOT looking like I have cancer I deserve the ridicule and "ANON" emails and posts made on message boards that I am making up that I have this disease. It is really sad that people just don't try to educate themselves on this disease instead of saying hurtful and awful things to me and all the others that suffer and die everyday from this disease.

I had to take some advice from a VERY brave, courageous, beautiful and compassionate lady regarding this very thing. This lady just happens to have stage IV malignant melanoma, and has opened her heart to strangers. She very tearfully and powerfully told me to IGNORE those people, that they will be forced to acknowledge this horrible thing one day. Thank you for telling me that when I needed to hear it. You are a wise, selfless person.
It's not fair to go through what you're going through, and nobody needs to hear the crap that you're obviously hearing. I would love to protect you from it, but only you can do that from yourself. Gird up your loins, let it roll, duck it--whatever you need to do. Bryce and I love you, and I'm so happy to have a new friend.
Melanoma SUCKS. Those people SUCK. You are AWESOME.
P.S. We have the same favorite movies!! I also like the movie "Christine", which I'm sure you have seen and appreciated...
